January 27, 2010 - Construction is underway and in full swing on Emory Eastside Medical Center’s new Outpatient Imaging Center in Loganville.  And according to Emory Eastside CEO, Kim Ryan, the project is right on schedule with a projected opening this Spring.

Emory Eastside Medical Center announced plans to offer new services in Walton County, earlier this year, with the addition of the new $3 million, 6,000 square foot diagnostic center in Loganville.

“We are pleased to offer the new Outpatient Imaging Center at Loganville to the growing communities east of Gwinnett County,” said Kim Ryan, CEO at Emory Eastside.  Loganville residents have been an integral part of our patient base and we value their support and loyalty.  We believe this creates a real win for them and residents of the surrounding areas when it comes to accessing quality healthcare services.”

The all digital center will include open MRI, a 16-slice CT, x-ray, ultrasound, mammography, and  bone density, and will be staffed by six highly trained, Board Certified Radiologist, three of whom are trained as interventional radiologists, specializing in mammography and neuro.

Emory Eastside will host a Grand Opening Celebration for the community this Spring so that all community members will have an opportunity to see the new facilities first-hand.
